In response to the recent declaration of the implementation of Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in twenty-three barangays in the Municipality of Catarman, the Provincial Government of Northern Samar, through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) is currently preparing to distribute family packs in the affected barangays.
A combined team from PSWDO and the Provincial General Services Office (PGSO) is currently repacking an estimated 10,000 family packs to be distributed in the following days.
PSWDO's encoding team is working overtime in preparing Material Distribution Sheets based on the verified masterlist compiled and validated by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office of Catarman.
Governor Edwin C. Ongchuan expressed his hope that the family packs would provide relief to families affected by the ECQ.
The declaration of ECQ was in response to the recent spike of positive cases in the municipality.
