Photo documentations which shows the destruction brought by the strong typhoon that ravaged the pueblos of Basey, Balangiga, Quinapundan, Hernani, Salcedo, Mercedes and Guiuan in Samar; Tacloban, Palo, Dulag and the rest of the pueblos in Leyte from October 12-13, 1897 which was said to be the strongest typhoon to hit the Samar-Leyte region aside from Super Typhoon Yolanda that struck in 2013.
