A Livelihood Training on Food Processing for Solo Parents

A Livelihood Training on Food Processing for Solo Parents was held on August 6-8, 2019 at the MSWDO Building, Municipal Grounds, San Roque, Northern Samar.
The training was initiated by the Local Government Unit of San Roque thru the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office in partnership with the Provincial Government of Northern Samar thru the Provincial Livelihood Development Office (PLDO). Participated by thirty-one (31) solo parents (30 female and one male), the training focused on the processing of chicken ham, beef tapa, hamburger patties, pork tocino, shrimp and pork siomai. A lecture on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Marketing Strategies was also integrated in the 3-day training.
