The Department of Health - Eastern Visayas announced tonight, September 16, 2020, 6 new COVID-19 cases in Northern Samar.
Of the 6 new confirmed cases, 3 are from Allen, 1 from Catarman, another 1 from Lapinig and also 1 from Victoria.
The 2 cases from Allen are both LSIs: EV-3939 is a 22-year old female while EV-3940 is a 6-year old male. Meanwhile, EV-3941 is a 65-year old male.
The case from Catarman, EV-3942 is a 29-year old male healthcare worker.
EV-3944 from Victoria is also a healthcare worker, a 30-year old female.
The first confirmed case of Lapinig, EV-3943, is a 32-year old female LSI.
These latest cases bring the total COVID record of Northern Samar to 145, of which 84 have recovered, while 61 are active cases.
