The entry of locally stranded individuals (LSIs) in Eastern Visayas is suspended for two weeks

Per order of DILG Secretary Eduardo Año, the entry of locally stranded individuals (LSIs) in Eastern Visayas is suspended for two weeks. This is upon the request of local chief executives in the region, including Governor Edwin Ongchuan, to temporarily stop the implementation of the program after a spike in new confirmed COVID-19 cases were recorded, most of which were LSIs. A written issuance is expected to follow.
