Swabbing of 19 Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) from San Isidro town.
The LSIs from San Isidro arrived in Tacloban port on May 28, 2020 aboard a BFAR vessel, along with the LSI from Jaro, Leyte who tested positive of COVID-19. They were fetched from Tacloban through a PIATF-arranged vehicle and directly brought to the isolation facility of San Isidro.
Governor Edwin Ongchuan requested for a swab test of these LSIs, to check their COVID status following exposure to a confirmed case. All are reported asymptomatic and well.
The public is assured of safety, the LSIs being in strict isolation since arrival.
