SUPPORT|| In the hinterlands of Brgy. San Isidro in Las Navas town is a small settlement of MAMANWA TRIBE. They originally came from Bakwag, Surigao. They settled 7 kms away from the village and had been there for 3 decades now. They mainly rely on forest resources to feed their clan.
First, they were hunters and would barter their products to the villagers. Then they became farmers and sell their harvest from the forest to the locals.
Now, they were taught to make baskets, chairs and other handicrafts from rattan, nito and other materials found in their surroundings.
