Provincial Consultative Assembly of the National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC) at the Ibabao Hall, participated by the Basic Sectors and Civil Society Organizations of Northern Samar.
The objectives of the assembly are:
1) to orient the Basic Sectors and Civil Society Organizations about NAPC as the oversight agency for poverty reduction, including its current directions geared towards helping the Administration of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to achieve its aspiration of reducing poverty in the country from 21.6% to 14%;
2) to discuss the roles and functions of the Provincial Consultative Body (PCB); and
3) to conduct election to create the Provincial Consultative Bodies as mechanism of localizing to sectoral agenda.
