Governor Edwin Ongchuan called for a Coordination Meeting of the LGUs, DILG, DPWH, LTO and NORSAMELCO on August 22, 2019 at the Governor's Residence, Catarman, Northern Samar, to discuss the implementation of DILG Mermorandum Circular No. 2019-121 issued on July 29, 2019 subsequent to President Rodrigo Roa Duterte's directive during his 4th State of the Nation Address to clear the roads of illegal structures and constructions.
